Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Sweden Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Sweden. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 22.2K in late June and dipping to approximately 10.6K by mid-September, before closing the quarter at about 11.2K. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, ranging from around 97.5K to 112.5K, with a peak at the end of September.

Uber - Request a ride had a more consistent download trend, starting at about 10K and ending the quarter at approximately 7.4K. The app's active users remained robust, fluctuating between 269K and 295K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a steady but modest number of weekly downloads, averaging around 350. The active user count was stable, hovering around 8.7K to 8.8K over the quarter.

Cabify had lower download numbers, starting at approximately 412 and declining to around 139 by the end of September. Active users ranged from about 1.2K to just over 2K, peaking in late July.

Lyft also saw modest download numbers, starting at around 432 and dropping to about 127 by the end of the quarter. The active user base fluctuated, beginning the quarter at around 3.8K, peaking at nearly 4K in mid-September, and ending at approximately 2.7K.
